OUR BACKSTORY
The Flying Hatter is a pandemic rebirth story. Val F Russell was forced to recreate a business avenue that could stand up to the challenging covid environment. Val F Russell is a art school graduate and is happy to find her way back to a creative studio life after a career in circus performing, education, production and other fields.
Val pulls tricks from her hat; athleticism, music, adventure, fashion design, travel, circus and GRIT to create a hat line that is head and shoulders above the herds.
The Flying Hatter is honored to have clients from San Francisco to New York and everywhere in between.
